Eco-Friendly & Marine-Safe - Naturally Biodegradable, Naturally Better

One of the most important benefits of choosing Yoshi&Co cold process soaps is their harmony with the environment. Unlike many mass-produced soaps and body washes that contain synthetic detergents, sulfates, or microplastics, our soaps are made with only natural, biodegradable ingredients.

When used, the wastewater from cold process soap breaks down safely without leaving behind harmful residues. Because every bar is free from harsh chemicals and artificial additives, it poses no threat to marine life once it returns to waterways.

From nourishing oils and butters to botanicals, clays, and essential oils, each ingredient in a Yoshi&Co soap is chosen with both your skin and the planet in mind. The result is a soap that not only pampers you but also respects the delicate balance of nature.

✨ With Yoshi&Co, self-care and environmental care go hand in hand — proving that luxury can be sustainable.

The Art of Cold Process Soapmaking With Yoshi & Co.

At Yoshi & Co., we view soapmaking as an art form, a careful balance of tradition, craftsmanship, and intention. Our soaps are created using the cold process method, a time-honored technique celebrated for its purity, elegance, and ability to transform the finest natural ingredients into exquisite skincare.

What Is Cold Process Soap?

Cold process soap is a luxurious, handcrafted creation born from the delicate blending of botanical oils, rich butters, and a lye solution. Through saponification, a natural chemical reaction, these ingredients transform into a bar of soap that retains glycerin, a precious humectant that draws moisture to the skin.
Unlike mass-produced soaps that strip away these benefits, cold process soaps preserve nature’s integrity, offering a bathing experience that is as indulgent as it is nourishing.

Why Yoshi & Co. Embraces Cold Process

  • Pure elegance for the skin – Every bar retains natural glycerin, ensuring softness and hydration.

  • Finest ingredients – We curate oils, butters, botanicals, and essential oils with uncompromising care.

  • Sustainably crafted – Our commitment to eco-conscious practices extends from recipe to packaging.

  • Artistry in every bar – Marble-like swirls, delicate textures, and refined scents elevate each soap into a sensorial experience.

A Glimpse Into Our Process

  • The foundation – A carefully measured lye solution, sometimes infused with botanicals or delicate plant-based milks.

  • The blend – Premium oils and butters, chosen for their unique skin benefits, brought together in perfect harmony.

  • The transformation – As oils and lye combine, saponification creates both soap and nourishing glycerin.

  • The signature touch – Hand-selected botanicals, natural minerals, or essential oils enhance both beauty and benefit.

  • The patience of time – Each bar is cured for 4–6 weeks, allowing it to harden, mature, and achieve its ideal balance.

The Yoshi & Co. Experience

Every Yoshi & Co. soap is more than a cleansing bar, it is a ritual of self-care. From the first touch to the lingering fragrance, each detail is designed to elevate the everyday into a moment of quiet luxury.
Our philosophy is simple: skincare should be natural, timeless, and extraordinary. With cold process soapmaking, we honor this belief,  offering you a piece of art that pampers the senses while respecting the earth.

What is Cold Process Soap? A Yoshi & Co. Guide

At Yoshi & Co., we believe skincare should be as natural, mindful, and nourishing as possible. That’s why we craft our soaps using the traditional cold process method, a time-honored technique that transforms pure oils, butters, and botanicals into gentle, skin-loving bars.

What Exactly Is Cold Process Soap?

Cold process soap is handmade from scratch by blending high-quality oils with a liquid, such as water or milk, and sodium hydroxide (lye). This mixture undergoes saponification, the chemical reaction that creates soap and naturally hydrating glycerin.
Unlike mass-produced soaps, cold process soaps contain no harsh detergents, and the glycerin remains intact, giving your skin the gentle care it deserves.
At Yoshi & Co., every bar is created in small batches with care so that each soap is as unique as the people who use it.

How Our Soaps Are Made

  • Lye meets liquid – We carefully prepare a lye solution, often with nourishing alternatives like herbal infusions or plant-based milks.

  • Blending oils & butters – Coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil, and other skin-loving ingredients are combined for the perfect balance.

  • Saponification in action – The magic begins as oils and lye react to form soap.

  • Natural enhancements – From rose petals to charcoal, every extra ingredient has a purpose for your skin.

  • Molding & curing – Bars are hand-poured into molds, then cured for 4–6 weeks to harden and become gentle on the skin.

More Than Soap, A Yoshi & Co. Experience

Cold process soapmaking takes patience, but at Yoshi & Co., we see it as a labor of love. The result is long-lasting, natural soaps that look beautiful, smell incredible, and most importantly, leave your skin feeling cared for.
Every bar is more than just soap, it’s a reflection of our philosophy: simple, natural, and made with intention.
